Dr. Brandon Murphy is a proud native of Illinois, raised in the southern suburbs of Chicago. With a deep commitment to providing exceptional dental care, Dr. Murphy brings both expertise and a compassionate touch to every patient interaction. Before founding Murphy Dental Group, PLLC, he gained invaluable experience serving as an associate dentist for several years.

Dr. Murphy earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and pursued advanced training through a General Practice Residency at the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. During his residency, he received specialized training in managing medically compromised patients, sedation dentistry, and advanced dental implant procedures. His dedication to continuous learning has allowed him to expand his scope of practice and refine his skills to meet the diverse needs of his patients.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Murphy holds a faculty appointment at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he shares his knowledge and mentors future dentists. With over 1,200 hours of continuing education, he remains at the forefront of advancements in dentistry, particularly in CADCAM dentistry and clear aligner therapy.

Dr. Murphy’s hard work and dedication have earned him multiple distinctions. He holds the prestigious Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry—a designation achieved by only 6 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada. After receiving his Fellowship, Dr. Murphy went on to earn his Mastership award in 2025, a rare achievement held by less than 2 percent of dentists.He also earned his Fellowship from the Academy of Clear Aligners. In addition to being a Top 1% Diamond Invisalign provider, this Fellowship is awarded only to the top clinicians in North America. As of 2025, fewer than 140 dentists hold this elite recognition.
